Last March I set-up my first Money-tise blog by using a free blog hosting website, none other than Blogger – maybe some of you will ask why Blogger? My answer is simple, because it’s so easy to set-up and more importantly you can add Adsense on it and began Money-tise online. For those who doesn’t know until now, Blogger is owned by the biggest search engine Google. And in my own opinion, that’s why it is so easy for them to index blogspot blog, and that make sense.
But before you set-up your blog you have to consider the following;
Think of your Unique Blog Address or URL
This is important because this is the main address of your blog. A URL or Uniform Resource Locator can be thought of as the address of a web page is sometimes and is informally referred as a web address. Ex. http://money-tise-online.blogspot.com/
And to make sure that Google will index(more on SEO) your blog in a couple of days or a week be sure to put your keyword on your blog’s title and also on the title of your every post. Not to mention, you have to include also some of your keywords in your content.
Select the Right Theme
Themes are already there, all you have to do is to choose which one you like best. I pick the one called Minima theme, clean and minimal. You can also tweak or change the color of your fonts, background and boarders and even the sizes of your fonts. And if you want to make your site more interesting and appealing to your future readers, then add some widgets on your blog. Don’t worry all of them are plugins, it’s already there, you just have to click on it and save to make it activate.
Get Ready to Blog
Pick a topic and stick to it, and make sure that you know what you want to write on your blog. If you choose a niche, then be sure to post any related topic on your niche (I didn’t say that you cannot post unrelated topics at all). Sometimes you can break the rule and post some offbeat topic to break the redundancy and to attack more attention, you can even post a video that you like from Youtube or post some funny picture of yours (just kidding don’t post any of your funny pix, reserved that for your Friendster, or you can post some quotes from a famous writer that you find on the net. But don’t make this often, so that your readers will not confuse about what really your niche is.
Example of what niche is, if you like gardening, then you can write all the garden essentials and “How to” about gardening, it means you have to stick your topic related to gardening and about gardens. You can even put iheartgardening.blogspot.com as your address (sorry, this one is already taken), remember that before you create your blog, you already choose on what’s your blog’s name and you already have an idea on what you want to blog about. Like, if you adore cool gadgets(I know, this is too broad), then you can write all about latest and coolest gadgets that is available in the market today, this is what the Probloggers called niche blogging.
And if you have lots of free time, then it’s better if you can plan ahead on what’s your next day or week’s blog entry (instead of uploading your nasty pix on your Friendster account), so that you never run-out of content and also your readers will keep coming back, knowing that you’re always updating your blog.
Last but not the least, visit and subscribes to other blogs with related topic or niche of yours and don’t forget to leave some comments with your link attached on your signature. And oh, you can also submit your blog on digg, stumbleupon, technorati and other social media sites to gain traffic and then, began to money-tise online and earn money online.
