As the new year’s eve is approaching for the coming of a new decade, many of us, if not all are preparing a list or plans on what’s to change and improve on this coming year 2010. Me of course, had prepared a list of my 15 SEO related New Year’s resolutions. And about my personal goals for this coming new year, I’m sorry I will not disclose it here. =)
So, without further ado, here’s my 15 SEO (search engine optimization) related New Year’s resolutions;
1. Learn Ways on How to Get Indexed by Major Search Engines.
I will try to find ways on how my site/s getting index not only on Google but also on other major search engines such as Yahoo, msn Bing, Ask, Baidu, the Chinese search engine and Yandex from Russia, so that I don’t rely on Google alone. I know, it seems impossible. =)
2. Study More on How to Land on the First Page of any major SERPs.
I will try my best to be persistent and create enough time to research and study on how to rank on any search engine results page or SERP’s. I know it’s not that easy nor it’s difficult as rocket science, and I think I can do it.
3. Learn more about Link Building.
I will try to learn ways about link building – the legal ones of course, and preferably one-way links. And also find out on how to obtain different linking methods, so that I can accomplish the #13 of my list.
4. Make lots of Friends Online.
I will try to sign-up on few trusted networking sites and probably exchange links with some network members. I think making friends online is not that difficult especially if you are true to yourself and you had the same hobby and interest. I will also try to be known online.
5. Write more Articles and Content.
I will try to improve my writings and create good articles for article submission directories. And hope that some directories will accept my articles.
6. Update my Blogs, even if just on a Weekly Basis.
I will try to update this site and force my lazy ass to get back on work to earn a passive income. =)
7. Create Videos and Clips.
I will try to create clips and short videos and submit them on major video submission sites such as Youtube and Metacafe. But first, I have to create an account on each of them.
8. Be Active on Social Media.
I will try to create an account on Twitter, Facebook, Flickr, Friendster and other social media sites, and try to be visible on every community. And also sign up on every forum that are related on my site’s topic.
9. Read more E-book about SEO / Search Engine Optimization.
I will try to read my downloaded e-books that gathered dust on my hard disk. And also frequently visit some SEO authority websites for more updates, and most importantly ask questions about search engine optimization.
10. Learn more about Viral Marketing.
I will try to learn more about viral marketing and also began implementing them to create free and organic traffic for my website.
11. Research Keywords.
I will try to do some research on any keyword before jumping and write any content on my blog.
12. Create more Niche Sites.
Another methods to Make Money Online.?I will try to allocate more of my time creating mini and niche sites to make more money online, instead of wasting my time browsing the net and reading unrelated stuff.
13. Moneytise and Make More Money Online.
I will try to find ways to earn and make more money online. I will also try to act immediately especially the # 12 on the list.
14. Learn Internet Marketing.
I will also try to learn and dip my feet on Affiliates marketing, PPC and other internet marketing methods. I know that I’m kinda late on some of them, but it’s better late than never. =)
15. Learn more about the mighty G.
I will try to read and learn more about the mighty G, and knows what the mighty G likes and dislikes.
